Rev. Herbert Tigateege is the founder of HARTM but He serves as the Executive Director. He is also the Chairman for Busia FBO network, a fresh religious coalition formed to confront the challenges of HIV and AIDS, Family and Gender Based Abuse, and Poverty in Busia District in Eastern Uganda. He was born in 1974.

He was brought up as an OVC who lost his parents at the age 6. He accepted and confessed Jesus Christ as his personal LORD and SAVIOUR in 1990 while a secondary school student. He was trained as a gospel minister by a Canadian Missionary Pastor who ministered in Uganda in the late eighties and early ninties.

He realised an apostolic call on his life in 1998. He attended Eagles Nest School of Ministry in Kenya in 2000 and Master Teach Institute in South Africa in 2001 and he is also training in ICT. He ministers with Prayer Palace Christian Center in Busia. He is gifted in healing and deliverance ministry.
